Thanks... it is in fact the full version, so I'm "good to go". Basically, we had to download the free trial versions, but were provided special license keys that unlock that install and remove the expiry. MS saved a few pennies by not giving us the plastic, but I can burn my own CDs for backup.

I've also found a way to get Vista Business for free, but I think I would need to upgrade my video card and memory first. I could prob. run it with what I have (vid. has 128Mb RAM and system has 1GB), but I don't want it to be sluggish. And Vista is pointless if you can't run the sweet new Aero interface. =)

Ouch... that stinks. Nothing like an unexpected $200 bill to fix what was probably caused by a $20 part!

Yeah... too bad you had to stay behind and work. I'll let you know how I like it. Hey, I'll trade you my license for Groove for $20. haha! Not sure I'll ever use it (kind of like Sharepoint).

My furnace went out this week and it was about 50-55 degrees inside so I know how you feel about being cold. Not to mention it cost me $200 to fix it :(

Enjoy your free copies of the applications, I wish I could have went but work sometimes gets in the way of the fun stuff :).
