COLTS WIN!!

Superbowl XLI is in the books, and the Peyton Manning, Marvin Harrison and the rest of this Colts team now firmly go down in history. No asterisks. No more “next Dan Marino”. No “great possession receiver”. No “the defense lost the game”. This one was for the doubters and the haters. Those who said it could not be done and would never be done because “Manning couldn’t win the big game” and “Dungyball won’t work”. No more “Defense wins championships, not offense” (although in truth, Indy had plenty of both). This team earned this win against the two best defenses (statistically) in the NFL. They stepped up when many (especially in the media) left them for dead.
No sir! The Indianapolis Colts are the NFL Champions! Peyton Manning is the MVP!

Jon… not sure I know ya, but you must be a Bears fan. Better luck next year. Or, maybe the year after that. Assuming the Colts can re-sign Freeney and Cato June, everyone else is under contract and we should be back for another shot next year.
