					<description>While this is "typical" behavior for betta fish, they usually only live 3-5 years (5 being an extreme max). When you buy them in the store, they are usually @6mos old, so if you have one for 2.5-3 years, they're pretty much living out their days.

Though slightly funny in retrospect, it made us teary eyed, too... T is such a sensitive little guy. It was good that it ended the way it did, but we hated putting him through that.

Lesson learned - next time poke the fish before you call the coroner. LOL!</description>
